How our afterschool program works:

• Safe pickup from school and arrival check-in

• Dedicated 60 minutes of Homework/Reading with staff support

• Outdoor movement & games

• Rotating STEAM labs (think: circuitry & simple robotics, design challenges, creative arts, citizen science, nature exploration), aligned with Florida standards and built for fun

 

Transportation
We now pick up from 12 schools across Lakeland (see the current list on our flyer or call 863-688-5491 to confirm your campus). Routes are designed for reliability and quick transitions so kids can maximize learning and play time after dismissal.

Safety & care
Your child’s safety is our top priority. Our passenger vans are equipped with dual-facing dash cameras, and our sites include additional safety measures such as an AED system. Staff are background-checked, trained, and focused on creating a warm, inclusive space where every child is known and encouraged to discover their spark.

Access & impact
More than 100 years in the Lakeland community have taught us that great afterschool changes lives. We work hard to keep programs accessible—financial assistance is available, and a significant portion of our families come from under-resourced communities.

Enrollment
Programs run each school day from dismissal to early evening. Spots are limited and fill quickly—call 863-688-5491 to join the waitlist or to confirm your school is on our pickup route.
